Industry leader Beasley & Henley Interior Design has been chosen by developers FCI (Florida Crystals Residential.) to create the interior detailing and interior design for their latest Tampa multi-family development in the Channel District, The Fitzgerald.

The Fitzgerald is a $60 million mid-rise apartment project with 300 units in eight stories and ground-floor retail near its entrance along Kennedy Boulevard. Apartment rent is expected to average just under $2,000 a month. The Beasley & Henley Interior Design team is creating the interiors based on an Art Deco-inspired theme.

“For this gorgeous project we are creating fresh interior details, with furnishings that are comfortably hip and elegant, and an atmosphere that is energetic and fun, “ states Design Principal Troy Beasley

The design team has already completed the specification and interior design documents and drawings for the developer, and is looking forward to the 2017 installation of Furnishings. “The furnishings are like the icing on the cake,” says Beasley. “They are luxurious and inviting, but there are a lot of layers involved before the icing goes on.”

Space planning, material specifications, MEP coordination, reflected ceiling plans and more are part of the many months of work involved on the interior design side.

Some of the space planning by the Beasley & Henley team includes the residents’ amenity areas, wi-fi internet, cozy theater, vibrant ‘overlook’ lounge, extensive fitness area and large clubroom with gorgeous pool views.

The Art Deco inspired luxury features created by Beasley & Henley Interior Design include a graceful spiral staircase that swirls from the main floor to the second story fitness area; fluted columns to highlight important area; upholstered walls that become comfortable benches, light fixtures specially selected to ‘wow’ residents; and recessed openings to give the area depth and dimension.

The Beasley & Henley design team pulled the Art Deco feel in to modern age by adding charging areas for computer, table, and phone throughout the amenity spaces.

Beasley & Henley’s color palette for The Fitzgerald will be light in tone, punctuated by touches of vibrant green. A variety of wood tones on furnishings and interesting floor tile details will add visual and tactile texture.
