Award-winning interior design firm, Beasley & Henley Interior Design has completed the interior design for the luxury multi-family complex, 5115 Park Place in the upscale Myers Park area of Charlotte, NC. Beasley & Henley’s comfortably sophisticated designs for the project, which they have dubbed ‘modern retro’ reflects the area’s well-known demand for luxury living.
Beasley & Henley, with its long history of award-winning projects, was specifically selected by Pollack Shores to design and plan the amenity spaces for this 273-unit development on Park Road. During the two-year design phase, Beasley & Henley provided the detailed amenity space planning, provided detail drawings, concepted and specified all finish materials and designed the furnishings package.
The design team, led by Beasley & Henley Interior Design Principal Troy Beasley, created the amenity spaces to be high style with classically warm, retro touches to appeal to the high-end renter. Furnishings are a combination of modern stylings with strategically placed classic pieces, such as tufted sofas in soft leather and striking warm wood furniture. The main stair case sits on a long, wood slat wall, with horizontal details flowing in to the stair case itself. The main floor is stained concrete in a warm grey tone topped with interesting rugs in a variety of tones and textures. The lighting is a combination of modern and retro with finishes in old bronze, brown nickel, salvaged zinc.
“The location of 5115 Park Place allowed us to really have fun with the design we wanted to create for this clientele,” explains Design Principal Troy Beasley. “We fashioned it as ‘modern retro’ keeping it high end but also approachable, which is perfect for Myers Park. We had a great time putting it all together for Pollack.”
