We finally received the call to start the install of the first Ikea model. It’s all systems go!
When we left off last week we were at the Ikea store, unattractively gaping at the impossibly gargantuan number of options in the furnishings warehouse. We find Sam, who it turns out, didn’t sneak off.
Normally the flow of the model home goes like this: Client sets the budget, we present, they love it, we order the furnishing and 3 months later, Voila! The amazing model home is installed and ready for new house hunters to walk through in delight.
Sam and I can’t wait to present the furnishings and colors for the two IKEA models to Lennar and get the reaction from the division president Brock Nicholas and his team. Sam is cautious because, after all, design is subjective. I think Lennar is going to love it. The amazing designers at Beasley & Henley pulled it off perfectly!
BHID Design Principal Troy Beasley, and his team, led by Sr Designer Sam Baker, created the designs, selected all furnishings and specified the high end finish materials for the interiors and exteriors of this upscale home.
“The interior design is graceful, fresh and comfortable. It resonates with the upscale but casual lifestyle of the Lely’s homebuyers,” says Beasley & Henley’s Stephanie Henley, Principal of the award-winning firm. “The atmosphere is light and airy to compliment the tranquil, breezy days of south Florida.”
BHID’s sleek modern designs complement the vernacular of Echelon on Palms’s visionary Tampa architect Alcides Santiesteban and reflect the buyers demand for sophisticated, contemporary urban living.
